### Ingredients

- 4 cups flour
|
||||||
|
- 2 eggs
|
||||||
|
- 1 cup water
|
||||||
|
### Procedure
|
||||||

1. Crack eggs into water and scramble
|
||||||
|
2. Pour egg/water mixture into flour
|
||||||
|
3. Stir mixture
|
||||||
|
4. Knead manually or with mixer until smooth
|
||||||
|
5. Let dough rest for 10 minutes
|
||||||
|
6. Roll dough until fairly thin
|
||||||
|
7. Cut circles approximately 3 inches in diameter
|
||||||
|
8. Put a small amount of filling in the center of each circle, then stretch dough around filling to seal
|
||||||
|
- Optionally crimp with a fork
|
||||||
|
9. Boil until pierogi float, then a bit longer if desired
|

- 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter

- 3 eggs

- 1 cup sour cream (or greek yogurt)

- 1 tsp salt
|
||||||

- 1 tsp baking soda
|
||||||
|
- 4 tsp baking powder
|
||||||
|
- 2 tsp vanilla
|
||||||
|
- 1 tsp nutmeg
|
||||||
|
- 5 cups flour
|

### Procedure

1. Cream sugar, butter, and eggs
|

2. Add sour cream, salt, baking soda, baking powder, vanilla, and nutmeg
|

3. Mix until combined

4. Slowly add flour, half a cup at a time, and mix until all is added
|
||||||
|
5. (Optional) Refrigerate several hours or overnight, or put in freezer for 15 minutes
|
||||||
|
6. Roll out and cut, or use scoop to place on sheet
|
||||||
|
7. Bake at 375°F for around 12 minutes
|
||||||
